Glimpses of things and places remembered and imagined find their way into my work through a wide variety of materials. Working in transparent layers allows me to explore fragmented visions of the natural world as well as more abstract realms. Metal leaf on joint compound, oil paint on plexiglas and digital prints on mulberry paper sealed with encaustic are some of the mediums I use to construct the dimensional wall reliefs in the work shown on this website.
