The work in this show is a result of my intuitive process of art making where each piece calls forth a different dialogue. I embark with no set ideas nor plan. I try to stay present within myself as well as with the work as it emerges. This involves following where my brush or other implement wants to go, sensing what color asks to be used, and how much territory wants to be covered. Much of what happens are experiments which I either paint over or explore further. My years of experience allows me to have a sense of when the coversation is complete.
