2017 Exhibit

My exhibit "Transitions" explored concepts of change and impermanence. The Japanese have a poetic phrase, "mono no aware", which recognizes ephemerality is somehow integral to beauty. As we age and the seasons in nature change, we have a chance to reflect on the intertwining of beauty and transiency.
