In March, Partners Gallery members are celebrating their connection with and love for Nature in a variety of media and forms. Works include large paintings from Yosemite, solar etchings of plants, mushroom spore prints with mixed media on handmade paper, a huge sea anemone made from velvets, and mixed media paintings with seeds and pods and grasses. There are also pieces featuring aged local barn wood, a tribute to the open ocean in collage and a miniature refuge in bamboo. A watercolor construction captures a total solar eclipse—an ecstatic few minutes in nature that reveals the extraordinary aspects of our solar system.
Meet the Artists at our Second Saturday Art Walk March 11, 5-7 pm. Partners Gallery is located at 45062 Ukiah Street in Mendocino. The winter hours are Thursday through Monday from 11am to 4:30pm.
