Karen Fenley's new work confronts the viewer with bright transparent layers of color bisected by calligraphic lines and shapes as she explores the challenges of communicating in the current world. In a process incorporating drawing, painting and collage with works titled: Hearing Voices, Zoom, Between Fact & Fiction and A Wordless Stele, she reflects on her focus of messaging through the invention of her own symbolic language.
