The magic of the Mendocino Coast nurtures my creative spirit. My work is a reflection of the natural environment that suits my temperament rather than a literal translation. I am passionate about printmaking as it requires careful crafting, yet welcomes play and generates unexpected results. I continue to use unconventional tools (think credit cards and chopsticks!) to draw my freehand marks. My watercolor paintings embrace the same spirit of discovery to find alternate treatments of the medium and uncover hidden surprises beneath the layers.
